Palace of the Archbishops

THE PALACES AND THE ARCHBISHOPS

Narbonne was of a major religious influence. For 1000 years the archbishops shaped the city. It is the second religious monument, just after the palace of the popes in Avignon.

The largest set of architecture in France, just after Avignon: Palace, Towers and Cathedral and cloister have found a place! It is visited by sandstone museums or festivals.

The Saint Just Saint Pasteur Cathedral was a pharaonic project, only the heart was built, the consuls not wanting to destroy the Roman walls.
